Ellen
is a Body-centered Psychotherapist, Rabbinic Pastor,
Teacher, Mentor and Healer. She has been a clinical
social worker for 30+ years, licensed massage therapist
for 20, an Interfaith Minister, and is certified in
many forms of body & energy therapies including
as a Master Instructor in Integrated Energy Therapy.
She has studied extensively with Jean Houston, and is
certified in her Human Capacities Training, E.S. Gallegos,and
is certified in his Interactive Imagery Therapy, Dora
Kunz, Reb Zalman, and many other holistic teachers.
Ellen has studied death & dying practices, homeopathic
and herbal medicine, flower essences, therapeutic touch,
Reiki, Feldenkrais and cellular listening. Her strong
background in trauma work and spiritual emergence and
emergencies is incorporated into her practice and teaching
as well. Sacred embodiment, including Embodied Kabbalah,
and work with the immune system and imagery are two
vital areas of her work and teaching-- as is developing
a relationship with organic time, the rhythms and patterns
of the natural world and of our own beings. She directs
MotherTree-Malchut in Woodstock, NY where she is a long
time resident with her cat Zusi
Private Sessions
Ellen offers 60-75 minute sessions. She incorporates
30 years of knowledge, experience and growing wisdom
to co-create work that is as accurate and useful as
possible. Clients wear comfortable clothing during sessions.

Classes
Ellen offers a weekly "Embodying the Sacred"
movement class held at MotherTree in Woodstock NY on
Tues mornings from 9:00-10:00am.
Beginning monday February 14, there will be an every
other week noon time Embodying the Sacred class at Spirittus,

Ellen helps couples and families co-create wonderful
Jewish and Interfaith weddings, namings, meaningful
funerals and other life cycle events. She also assists
with birthing and facing death.
