FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Plants Have Been Used Through Time and Cultures as Sacred Healing and Magical Herbs
With world-renowned herbalist and author Susun Weed, explore an aspect of herbal study too often ignored. At the Wise Woman Center, Susun will be sure to challenge your preconceptions of the value and power of such plants.
Plant spirit medicine, fairies and devas, dream pillows, flying oils, love charms, mojo bags, the magic of psychoactive plants, and much more will be discussed and demonstrated. Be prepared to be introduced to new concepts, learn new herbal approaches, and take home with you ideas to create your own magic. You will come to understand how to combine your own intentions with the energies of the plants to create more of what you want in life.
“Magical Plants” will be held at the Wise Woman Center on October 25, 2009, from 10am-5pm. Open to men and women. You'll be outside among the plants with Susun and the goats, learning to identify, harvest, and use local plants for food and medicine. Fee: $75, includes lunch with a wild salad.
