Founded twenty years ago by internationally acclaimed author and herbalist Susun Weed, the Wise Woman Center exists with the purpose of offering a safe space for women to rediscover the Wise Woman Way. Nestled in deep magical woods and located between Woodstock and Saugerties, 5 miles from the NYS Thruway, the Wise Woman Center is easily accessible while still private. Studies include plant identification, herbal medicine, cancer prevention, women and chanting, goddess belly dancing, and feeding the creative spirit.
