This summer, explore three common weeds and their wonderful gifts with Susun Weed at the Wise Woman Center in Woodstock, NY. Join her and others at her home May 11th for a walk among the plants, and bring some of her abundance home – free cuttings.

The three beautiful plants you will explore in depth are Maidenwort, Motherwort and Cronewort. More commonly called, respectively, Chickweed (Stellaria media), Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca), and Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris). These are some of Susun’s favorite plants that abound at the Wise Woman Center .

Through this class you will learn that these wonderfully effective remedies are easy to find, grow, prepare and use.

Maidenwort, Motherwort, Cronewort”, a one-day class with Susun Weed, will be held at the Wise Woman Center in Woodstock, NY, on May 11, 2008, from 10am-5pm. Open to men and women. You'll be outside among the plants with Susun and the goats, learning to identify, harvest, and use local plants for food and medicine. Fee: $75, includes lunch with a wild salad.
