The Wise Woman Center in Woodstock, NY, is host to a number of short and long-term classes and apprenticeships. Renowned for its healing work with herbal medicine, wild plant lore, and women’s empowerment, it is also a place to explore spirit-healing skills.
In an upcoming class with herbalist, author, and founder of the Wise Woman Center, Susun Weed, participants will go on a shamanic journey. They will also have a chance to chant and tone, work with auras and chakras, heal with color and sound, create a ritual, and increase their psychic skills. It is an all-day class not to be missed!
“Spirit Healing Skills” will be held at the Wise Woman Center on Saturday, September 15, 2005, from 10am-5pm. The fee of $75 includes a delicious wild foods lunch.
Weather permitting, the class leaves promptly at 10:15 am for a walk in the woods with the goats, where you will have a talking stick ceremony, and lots of time to identify and talk about plants and ask questions. When the goats take a break, a wild food lunch will be prepared and enjoyed. Class size will be kept small to allow personal attention. Class held indoors in case of rain.
